Ohio High School Soccer - Mineral Ridge nudges Heartland Christian

The Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH) soccer edged the host Heartland Christian Lions (Columbiana, OH), 1-0 in Thursday's non-league contest.

Next, the Rams face the Memorial Red Devils (Campbell, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet contest, on Monday, September 22. Mineral Ridge will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Red Devils enter the contest with a 6-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to Champion (Warren, OH).

The Lions (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Wood County Christian (Williamstown, WV). The Wildcat enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Wood County Christian was nipped by Ohio Valley Christian (Gallipolis, OH), 6-0, in a non-league contest.
