The Herbert Hoover Huskies held off the host Sissonville Indians soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next, the Huskies clash with the Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) in a Cardinal game, on Tuesday, September 23. Herbert Hoover will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Big Blacks come into the game with a 5-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV).
The Indians (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Scott (Madison, WV). The Skyhawks come into the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Scott was nipped by Sherman (Seth, WV), 3-1, in a non-league game.
