In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Wickliffe Blue Devils soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 win over the Jefferson Area Falcons.

The Blue Devils (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Rootstown (Rootstown, OH). The Rovers come into the Chagrin Valley - Valley test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Rootstown edged Chippewa (Doylestown, OH), 7-1, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now sport a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeview for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Jefferson Area will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 league win over South Range (Canfield, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
