In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Marietta Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the River View Black Bears.
The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH). The Scotties go into the non-league outing with a 4-5 record.
Next up, the Black Bears play the Zanesville Blue Devils (Zanesville, OH) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 20. River View will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 3-3 league Northridge (Johnstown, OH).
