The Newton Falls Tigers smashed the visiting Ravenna Ravens soccer team by a margin of 6-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Tigers now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Champion for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet challenge on Monday, September 22. Newton Falls will face a Golden Flashes team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Berkshire (Burton, OH). The Golden Flashes record now stands at 11-0.
The Ravens (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ellet (Akron, OH). The Orangemen go into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Ellet Brush (Lyndhurst, OH), 2-2, in a non-league challenge.
