Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY), 1-0 in a league outing.

The Plainsmen (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Albany (Albany, NY). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Albany was edged by Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY), 4-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Silver Warriors play the Averill Park Golden Knights (Averill Park, NY) in a Suburban Council- Gray outing, on Thursday, September 25. Niskayuna will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Golden Knights go into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 0-0 league Christian Brothers Academy (Albany, NY).
