Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) and the visiting Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD), saw Walter Johnson's soccer squad hold off Quince Orchard by a count of 2-1.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wootton (Rockville, MD). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Wootton was edged by Whitman (Bethesda, MD), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
