The Unity Christian Crusaders (Hudsonville, MI) soccer nipped the visiting South Christian Sailors (Grand Rapids, MI), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Crusaders now hold a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton for a Ottawa-Kent - Blue contest on Monday, September 22. Unity Christian will battle a Hawkeyes team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Zeeland West (Zeeland, MI). The Hawkeyes record now stands at 8-3.

The Sailors (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northview (Grand Rapids, MI). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Northview was nipped by Reeths-Puffer (Muskegon, MI), 5-0, in a non-league contest.
