North Carolina High School Soccer - Sun Valley knocks off West Stanly

The Sun Valley Spartans soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting West Stanly Colts to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Weddington for a Southern Carolina 6A/7A bout on Monday, September 22. Sun Valley will face a Warriors team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.
The Colts (3-8) will now prepare for their bout against Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Bearcats enter the Rocky River 4A/5A contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Anson was overwhelmed by Monroe (Monroe, NC), 13-0, in a league contest.
