The Inola Longhorns softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Berryhill Chiefs to 2 in the Longhorns non-league win on Thursday.

The Longhorns now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. Inola will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to McLoud (McLoud, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 4-18.

The Chiefs (4-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 16-7 record. In their last challenge, Fort Gibson was routed by Hilldale (Muskogee, OK), 10-1, in a non-league challenge.
