Georgia High School Softball - Cook bounces Ware County

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Cook Hornets softball team scored a nice 8-0 triumph over the Ware County Gators.
Next, the Hornets play the Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Cook will attempt to upgrade on its 17-1 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 9-3 league loss to Crisp County (Cordele, GA).
The Gators (3-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Brunswick (Brunswick, GA). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 11-9 record. In their last battle, Brunswick was routed by Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA), 13-0, in a league battle.
