Nebraska High School Softball - NEN gets by Highway 91

September 18, 2025: Wisner, NE

NEN (Wisner, NE) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they observed their softball team get by the visiting Highway 91 (Leigh, NE), 4-3 in a non-league match.

The (10-6) will now prepare for their match against Northwest (Grand Island, NE). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 13-2 record. In their last match, Northwest tipped Aurora (Aurora, NE), 11-8, in a league match.

In their next game, the battle the Arlington Eagles (Arlington, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 20. Highway 91 will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 10-8 record after their 2-1 league loss to Yutan-Mead (Yutan, NE).
