Illinois High School Volleyball - Milford can't hold off Armstrong

In Thursday's league match, the Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL) volleyball squad tipped the host Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL), by a count of 2-1.

The Trojans now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Seeger for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 20. Armstrong will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Benton Central (Oxford, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 14-2.

With the loss, Milford drops to 0-10 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, September 22. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 9-3. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL)
