In Thursday's league challenge, the host Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush KNIGHTS volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Science Leadership Academy Rockets.

The KNIGHTS (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Carver High School of Engineering & Science (Philadelphia, PA). The enter the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Carver High School of Engineering & Science nudged Thomas A. Edison (Philadelphia, PA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Rockets now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Masterman for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Science Leadership Academy will face a squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Northeast (Philadelphia, PA). The record now stands at 5-2.
