Axtell Wildcats (Axtell, NE) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] (Eustis, NE), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Axtell advances its record to 6-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Grand Island Lutheran (Grand Island, NE) to face the Lightning in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Lightning go into the test with a record of 9-3. Grand Island Lutheran lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE)

The now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Loomis for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 18. Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] will play a Wolves team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE). The Wolves record now stands at 5-4.
