Axtell Wildcats (Axtell, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Loomis Wolves (Loomis, NE), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Axtell improves its record to 6-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Grand Island Lutheran (Grand Island, NE) to meet the Lightning in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 22. The Lightning come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Grand Island Lutheran lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE)

Next, the Wolves meet the Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] (Eustis, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Loomis will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Wallace (Wallace, NE).
