In Thursday's non-league contest, the Parsons Christian Academy Lions (Jacksonville, FL) volleyball team defeated the host Beacon of Hope Christian Eagles (St. Augustine, FL), by a count of 3-0.
The Lions (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fernandina Beach (Fernandina Beach, FL). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Fernandina Beach was knocked off by Creekside (St. Johns, FL), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Eagles battle the Halifax Academy Knights (Daytona Beach, FL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 22. Beacon of Hope Christian will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 0-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Odyssey Charter School (Palm Bay, FL).
