In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Blount Leopards volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Hillcrest Jaguars.
The Leopards (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cottage Hill Christian Academy (Mobile, AL). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Cottage Hill Christian Academy was beaten by Mobile Christian (Mobile, AL), 3-0, in a league test.
The Jaguars now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Excel for a 3A Area 2 test on Monday, September 22. Hillcrest will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to T.R. Miller (Brewton, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 7-6.
