Calvary Baptist Academy Kings (Midland, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Northern Michigan Christian Comets (McBain, MI), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Kings (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-13 record. In their last challenge, Nouvel Catholic Central beat Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Comets face the Grant Tigers (Grant, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. Northern Michigan Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Tigers come into the outing with a 10-7 record after their 3-1 league win over Reed City (Reed City, MI).
