In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Covenant Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Rogers Pirates.

The Eagles (10-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 2-17 record. In their last test, Phil Campbell went down by Cordova (Cordova, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Pirates now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deshler for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Rogers will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Central (Florence, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 25-7.
