Nebraska High School Volleyball - East Butler bounced by Shelby-Rising City

The East Butler Tigers volleyball squad (Brainard, NE), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE)

With the win, Shelby-Rising City improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE) to meet the Eagles in a D1 District 7 contest on Tuesday, September 23. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 4-5. Bruning-Davenport/Shickley lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE)

Next, the Tigers meet the Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 20. East Butler will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 2-0 league win over High Plains (Polk, NE).
