In Thursday's league challenge, the host Elkton Elks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Yoncalla Eagles.
The Elks (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Alsea (Alsea, OR). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Alsea was beaten by Triangle Lake (Blachly, OR), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Prospect Cougars (Prospect, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Yoncalla will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Chiloquin (Chiloquin, OR).
