The Eureka Hornets topped the visiting Ridgeview Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) in a Heart of Illinois game, on Tuesday, September 23. Eureka will attempt to advance on its 15-3 season record. The Vikings go into the game with a 10-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL).
The Mustangs (4-10) will now prepare for their game against Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, Blue Ridge was dropped by Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
