South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the host Floodwood Polar Bears (Floodwood, MN), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] (Eveleth, MN). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] beat Hibbing (Hibbing, MN), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Polar Bears meet the Braham Bombers (Braham, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Floodwood will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Bombers enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Pine City (Pine City, MN).
