Michigan High School Volleyball - Hopkins edged by Fruitport

Fruitport Trojans (Fruitport, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Hopkins Vikings (Hopkins, MI), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Fruitport advances its record to 13-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Byron Center (Byron Center, MI) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 15-4. Byron Center lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Jenison (Jenison, MI)

The Vikings now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Otsego for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23.
