The Harding Academy Lions held off the visiting Lausanne Collegiate Lynx volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's league outing.

The Lions now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Hutchison for a non-league outing on Monday, September 22. Harding Academy will clash with a Sting team coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Mary's Episcopal (Memphis, TN). The Sting record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, Lausanne Collegiate drops to 5-14 on the campaign. The Lynx host St. George's (Collierville, TN) to confront the Gryphons in a D-II A District 6 match on Tuesday, September 23. The Gryphons enter the match with a record of 13-12. St. George's lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Rockvale (Rockvale, TN)
