In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Holmdel Hornets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Middletown South Eagles.
The Hornets (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity Hall (Tinton Falls, NJ). The go into the test with a 0-3 record.
The Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Non Varsity Opponent for a non-league test on Friday, September 19.
