In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Houma Christian Warriors volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the St. Charles Catholic Comets.
The Warriors (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Berwick (Berwick, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Berwick nudged Destrehan (Destrehan, LA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
The Comets (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 12-2 record. In their last game, Academy of the Sacred Heart was edged by Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
