The L.C. Bird Skyhawks volleyball team (Chesterfield, VA), was knocked off 3-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA)

The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA). The Vikings enter the Colonial contest with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Thomas Jefferson achieved victory over Huguenot (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Skyhawks now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clover Hill for a Dominion battle on Tuesday, September 23. L.C. Bird will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-4.
