In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Kennedy Memorial Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the North Plainfield Canucks.
The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sayreville (Parlin, NJ). The Bombers enter the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record.
Next, the Canucks meet the Wardlaw Hartridge Rams (Edison, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. North Plainfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
