The Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats (Washburn, IL) volleyball held off the visiting Woodland Warriors (Streator, IL), 2-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to DeLand-Weldon for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 23.

The Warriors (4-11) will now prepare for their match against Lexington (Lexington, IL). The Minutemen enter the non-league match with a 13-2 record. In their last match, Lexington held off Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL), 2-0, in a league match.
