The Lynden Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Nooksack Valley Pioneers to 0 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sedro-Woolley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing on Monday, September 22. Lynden will clash with a Cubs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ferndale (Ferndale, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 2-2.
The Pioneers (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Blaine (Blaine, WA). The Borderites enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Blaine was dropped by Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA), 3-0, in a league match.
