Indiana High School Volleyball - Mt. Vernon can't hold off Princeton

In Thursday's league match, the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 20. Princeton will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN).

The Wildcats (5-11) will now prepare for their match against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Patriots come into the Pocket bout with a 10-8 record. In their last bout, Heritage Hills nipped Washington (Washington, IN), 3-1, in a league bout.
