Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the University School of Jackson Bruins (Jackson, TN) and the visiting South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN), observed University School of Jackson's volleyball team top South Gibson by a count of 25-18.
The Bruins (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tipton-Rosemark Academy (Millington, TN). The Rebels enter the D-II A District 5 contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Tipton-Rosemark Academy notched a victory over Tipton Christian Academy (Covington, TN), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Hornets meet the Middleton Tigers (Middleton, TN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 22. South Gibson will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record.
