The Grants Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Gallup Bengals to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Monday.
The Pirates now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aztec for a non-league game on Thursday, September 22.
The Bengals (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks enter the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Volcano Vista gained a win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
