In Monday's non-league battle, the host Elkhart Lions soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the South Bend Riley Wildcats.
The Lions (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Plymouth (Plymouth, IN). The Pilgrims/Rockies come into the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Plymouth was overwhelmed by Concord (Elkhart, IN), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Wildcats (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN). The Cougars come into the Northern Indiana: South battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, New Prairie thwarted South Bend Washington (South Bend, IN), 9-0, in a league battle.
