In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Thornton Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Lake Central Indians.
The Wildcats (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Blue Island Eisenhower by Richards (Oak Lawn, IL), 3-1, in a league battle.
