The Grayson Rams routed the host Lanier Longhorns softball squad by a final score of 11-3 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Rams (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Tigers go into the 7A Region 4 battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Archer topped Duluth (Duluth, GA), 18-12, in a non-league battle.
The Longhorns now possess a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Habersham Central for a 6A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, September 20. Lanier will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 8-8.
