Lakeview Vikings (Columbus, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Schuyler Warriors (Schuyler, NE), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aurora for a B District 7 challenge on Thursday, September 22. Lakeview will face a Huskies squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Blue River (David City, NE). The Huskies record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Schuyler falls to 0-16 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Seward (Seward, NE) to face the Bluejays in a B District 6 challenge on Monday, September 19. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a record of 14-6. Seward lost 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against North Platte (North Platte, NE)
