The Lincoln Park Lions held off the visiting Amundsen Vikings volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's league test.

The Lions now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Grand for a Chicago Public Red North test on Tuesday, September 20. Lincoln Park will confront a Eagle Owls team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Kennedy (Chicago, IL). The Eagle Owls record now stands at 4-7.

The Vikings (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Taft (Chicago, IL). The Eagles enter the Chicago Public Red North test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Taft held off Resurrection (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
