The Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN) volleyball overcame the host Blackduck Drakes (Blackduck, MN), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, Lake of the Woods upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN) to face the Wolves in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 22. The Wolves go into the outing with a record of 6-0. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Cass Lake-Bena (Cass Lake, MN)

The Drakes now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Kelliher/Northome for a Northwoods outing on Tuesday, September 20. Blackduck will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lake of the Woods (Baudette, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
