Indiana High School Volleyball - Jay County can't hold off Blackford

September 19, 2022: Hartford City, IN 47348

In Monday's non-league battle, the host Blackford Bruins volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Jay County Patriots.

The Bruins (12-14) will now prepare for their battle against Elwood (Elwood, IN). The Panthers come into the Central Indiana battle with a 5-16 record. In their last battle, Elwood nudged Tindley (Indianapolis, IN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Patriots clash with the South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN) in a Allen County battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Jay County will attempt to advance on its 3-11 season record. The Starfires come into the battle with a 17-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Heritage (Monroeville, IN).
