The Newsome Wolves (Lithia, FL) volleyball overcame the visiting Brandon Eagles (Brandon, FL), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, Newsome upgrades its record to 11-7 on the year. The Wolves travel to Durant (Plant City, FL) to play the Cougars in a 7A District 11 outing on Wednesday, September 21. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 5-6. Durant lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Strawberry Crest (Dover, FL)

The Eagles now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Plant City for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 22. Brandon will play a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Sumner (Riverview, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 2-7.
