The Burlington Red Devils held off the host Wayland Warriors volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.
The Red Devils now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Watertown for a Middlesex test on Tuesday, September 20.
The Warriors (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Boston Latin (Boston, MA). The Wolfpack enter the Dual County test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Boston Latin held off Boston Latin Academy (Dorchester, MA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
Match Summary
Close match today against Wayland. The Red Devils had great serving games in the second, fourth and fifth sets, with lots of great defense and offense. The first and third sets were much closer with tough serves and offense from Wayland.
