In Monday's non-league battle, the host Calhoun Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Illinois School for the Deaf Tigers.

The Warriors (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Griggsville-Perry (Griggsville, IL). The Tornadoes come into the Western Illinois Valley battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Griggsville-Perry went down by Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Greenview Bulldogs (Greenview, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 22. Illinois School for the Deaf will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 5-9 record after their 2-1 league loss to Illini Central (Mason City, IL).
