The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Columbia Eagles (Decatur, GA) and the visiting Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA), saw Columbia's volleyball squad beat Cedar Grove by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Columbia upgrades its record to 4-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to McNair (Atlanta, GA) to play the Mustangs in a 2A Area 5 bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 13-13. McNair lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Elite Scholars Academy (Jonesboro, GA)

The Saints now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 21. Cedar Grove will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 25-4.
