Next up, the Crusaders face the Woodland Warriors (Streator, IL) in a Tri-County contest, on Thursday, September 22. Marquette will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 15-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, IL).

With the loss, Flanagan-Cornell moves to 11-11 on the year. The Falcons travel to Eureka (Eureka, IL) to face the Hornets in a Heart of Illinois contest on Tuesday, September 20.
