The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA) and the visiting J.I. Burton Black Raiders (Norton, VA), saw Holston's volleyball squad beat J.I. Burton by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Holston upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA) to play the Warriors in a Hogoheegee bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Chilhowie lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Marion (Marion, VA)

The Black Raiders now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Eastside for a Cumberland bout on Tuesday, September 20. J.I. Burton will play a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-5.
