The Woodland Warriors volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Lexington Minutemen to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Monday.

The Warriors now possess a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marquette for a Tri-County game on Thursday, September 22. Woodland will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-3.

The Minutemen (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Turks enter the Heart of Illinois game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, Tremont was dropped by Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
