In Monday's non-league battle, the host Mounds View Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the North Polars.
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN). The Raiders come into the Suburban East battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Cretin-Derham Hall lost by Concordia Academy (Roseville, MN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Polars clash with the Hastings Raiders (Hastings, MN) in a Metro East battle, on Wednesday, September 21. North will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN).
